UPDATEMcCain campaign changes position on what McCain meant, in an admission they’re taking on water.  Now the campaign is trotting out this tortured construction:  when he said “it’s not too important” he was referring to whether he had an estimate of when the troops would be coming home, not when they’d be coming home.  This contradicts the campaign’s own initial reaction to the fuss over McCain’s statement, in which they acknowledged McCain’s point was the duration of our occupation isn’t important so long as our casualties are tolerable.

    Does McCain Speak English?

I mean…does he have a true grasp of the language?

Just curious because everytime that moldy pile of bones opens his mouth one of his handlers has to send someone out to ‘explain what he meant.’

    Just Wondering
