RKR Poll: Who Should McCain Pick For VP?

I know many regulars of this site will want to answer this poll with something snarky, like Lord Voldemort, Hillary Clinton, Scooter Libby, Larry Craig, or Vicki Iseman, and there is a write-in option if you’re so inclined. But just for the heck of it, try to answer it honestly. Results will be posted by the end of the week.

Not to taint results, by if I were McCain, I would pick Romney. He’d be a decent attack dog. He’s been vetted in the primary. He’d add some much needed vigor to the ticket. He arguably has a better understanding of the economy than McCain (although that’s a very low bar). But most significantly, he might hurt Obama in Michigan. Might. And I don’t think his religion issue will hurt the ticket much — certainly Obama won’t make it an issue. (Of course, he’s still a fake, a flip-flopper and a clone of Pat Boone, but there’s not much to choose from in the GOP).
