“Since we won, we now have no choice. We have to win.”
Try to imagine McCain giving a talk like this. I have no doubt that Obama’s remarks captured on the clip below left his campaign staff feeling rejuvenated, motivated, and ready to sacrifice their personal lives to work tirelessly through November even more so than they already were. He does it without a rah-rah “go team” speech, but by speaking directly and honestly about the stakes – about what this campaign means for real people who are depending on change in Washington for their lives to turn around. It’s a message that resonates beyond the walls of his campaign headquarters. That’s the essence of his bottom-up approach to his campaign. He builds and organizes a movement and empowers his supporters. That’s what the GOP doesn’t get, and can’t replicate. It’s going to be a very interesting general election.

Fantastic speech! Any chance you can send the audio only or the transcript to me? I’ve got an outdated iBook and couldn’t stream the video very well. Please let me know. I googled for the transcript but I couldn’t find it.
