- Daily Tracking Polls. Gallup and Rasmussen show surge for Obama. Gallup has Obama leading 49-45%. Rasmussen has Obama and Hillary tied, with Hillary losing her prior lead.
- Obama and Hillary duel on NBC and ABC Sunday talk shows at same time.
- Frank Rich: MSM is being hypocritical in judging Obama by his former associates when we don’t do the same thing to McCain.
- North Carolina’s largest newspaper, the Charlotte Observer, endorses Obama.
- The Louisville Couier-Journal, which has coverage in Southern Indiana in addition to Kentucky, endorses Obama. But then again, nearly every newspaper in Pennsylvania endorsed Obama.
- In a bizarre twist, Hillary had insisted on being identified with filly Eight Belles and recommended everyone “bet on the filly” in the Kentucky Derby. Eight Belles lost the race, was injured, and had to be killed at the track to be put out of her misery.
