- Daily Tracking Polls. Both Gallup and Rasmussen daily tracking polls show a new bounce for Obama. Rasmussen has Obama up and Hillary down from yesterday, 46-42%. Similarly, Gallup shows Obama re-taking lead from yesterday’s 1-point deficit to lead Hillary 47-45%. It could be the hit Obama took at the ABC debate has run its course or triggered a counter-reaction in favor of him.
- Oops! Gov. Rendell speaks honestly to press and says Hillary must win big in the PA primary to have a credible argument to take to the super delegates. It’s refreshing to hear Rendell speak the truth, but Hillaryland must be furious because they’ve been aggressively trying to lower expectations.
- New DNC ad hits McCain for claiming we’re better off now economically.
- Hillary Campaign’s Surprising Lack of Confidence on MTP. Geoff Garin, chief strategist for Hillary’s campaign (and successor to Mark Penn) on Meet the Press this morning:
Tim Russert: Will Hillary Clinton stay in this race through all the primaries in June?Geoff Garin: Uh, there’s not a reason, um, not to, but look, I think that that will be dictated by events… uh, um, her commitment now is to let the process play through and let the voters vote.
- McCain Double-Speak on Rev. Hagee on This Week. When asked whether it was a mistake to “solicit and accept” endorsement of evangelist who has trashed the Catholic Church, McCain says, “Oh, probably, sure.” He then went on to say he’s “glad to have Hagee’s endorsement.”
- New PA poll has Hillary up by 5 points, 48-43%, with a 4 point margin of error. First Read analyzes the numbers and thinks it’s Clinton’s race to lose, depending on turnout and how undecided’s break.

- With Friends Like That. Richard Mellon Scaife, who was the primary underwriter of the anti-Clinton “vast right wing conspiracy” in the 1990s, endorses Hillary (via his money-losing vanity publication, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) largely because she had the “courage” to meet with him a few weeks ago.

“Screw ‘em,” Hillary Clinton told her husband. “You don’t owe [Southern working class whites] a thing, Bill. They’re doing nothing for you; you don’t have to do anything for them.”
The 1995 Hillary Clinton “screw ‘em” remark, is a more than apt representation of her character. Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther, and goes much deeper than anyone realizes. Particularly telling, is the fact that Leon Panetta was even present during Hillary’s “screw ‘em” admonition. Hillary has treated and continues to treat all working class Americans as a species apart, and screw them she did.
