Turns out the young girl in bed in Hillary’s 3 a.m. negative ad was filmed in that footage eight years ago. She’s now 17 and a huge Obama supporter. She will be old enough to vote in the general election. For Obama.
Next we have a photo of Hillary’s trip to Bosnia that she touted as evidence of her foreign policy experience and her capacity to handle that crisis call at 3 a.m. There she is, singing with Sheryl Crow and Chelsea. Looks like some high stakes negotiations while under dangerous sniper fire, doesn’t it?
UPDATE 3/11: Sinbad, who was on the same trip, says it was a silly junket and not scary in the least.
And finally, here’s Hillary “brokering peace” in Northern Ireland. Notice the nice china and tea on the table the ladies have before them. This meeting, which she grossly mischaracterized as playing a substantive role in the peace negotiations, was a trivial social tea.
Even on the domestic policy front, we’re seeing Hillary engage in historical revisionism to exaggerate her accomplishments as first lady. For example, on Hillary’s campaign website, she claims that as first lady she “helped pass the Family and Medical Leave Act.” Actually, Senator Chris Dodd was the author of the FMLA and worked for its passage beginning in 1986, a full six years before Bill Clinton was elected. It was passed twice by Congress during the presidency of President George H.W. Bush, and vetoed both times. When Bill Clinton ran for office, he promised that he would “sign” the FMLA. The issue was not that he (or Hillary) would work to get it passed by the Democratic Congress (that was never in doubt), but simply that as a Democratic president, he would sign it (unlike his veto-happy predecessor, Bush). Bill Clinton was sworn in on January 20, 1993. He signed the FMLA only 16 days later on February 5, 1993 – the first legislation enacted under his presidency. There is no evidence whatsoever that Hillary played any role in helping it get passed by the Democratic Congress. Indeed, given that Bill Clinton promised to sign it during the ‘92 campaign, Hillary can’t even argue that she help persuade Bill to sign it. (Hat tip to Maineiac)
I guess it’s true Hillary will do and say anything to get elected.

I think you’re either being really unfair, or you have a horrendous typo going on, but I bet Hillary DID help with peach negotiations in Ireland. Hmm… clingstone? Or peen to?

I thought her peach negotiations were pitiful.

You may want to rethink the plot to make Hillary Clinton look less then she is. It will be very unsatisfying for you when she is your President.
Just because you say something does not make it true. I would have thought that Obama having to back track on so many issues would have taught you a lesson.
Try to do this for a change, tell us, if you can, all the good that Obama has done in Ireland. Okay how about China? No? Well when he is Vice President he will get some experience so it’s okay.
Try to imagine Michelle Obama as first lady when she is telling everyone in the world that she isn’t proud of our America. Better yet when she is telling the rest of the World that American people are just mean.

If somehow Hillary steals the nomination, there is no chance she will beat McCain, so I’m really not worried about your hypothetical. As for backtracking, you must be thinking of Hillary who told Tim Russert in the last debate that she wished she could have had her vote on Iraq back. It was the first time Hillary admitted her mistake on that vote, after refusing to do so repeatedly in the campaign. As for Michelle, she’s terrific and will make a great first lady. I’m not publishing you other comment because it was racist drivel. If you’re trying to reflect well on your candidate Hillary, you’re doing a heckuva job! Thanks!
